An gasification-gas production arrangement includes stages (I,II) (1) for drying biomass, a grinding stage (3) for grinding biomass to grits of less than 1000 mu m, a device for pneumatically transporting the finely powdered biomass in a dense flow with a loading density of 60-350 kg/m 3>to the entrained-flow gasifier (4). In the gasifier, the reaction space is limited by a liquid-cooled heat shield, for gasification of biomass with a gasification agent containing free oxygen at 1200-1600[deg] C and 6 MPa or more to obtain gasification gas. An gasification-gas production arrangement includes stage (I) for drying biomass at 110[deg] C to reduce the moisture content from 30-60% to 10-15%, stage (II) for drying biomass at 250-350[deg] C, a grinding stage for grinding biomass to grits of less than 1000 mu m, a device for pneumatically transporting the finely powdered biomass in a dense flow with a loading density of 60-350 kg/m 3>to the entrained-flow gasifier. In the gasifier, the reaction space is limited by a liquid-cooled heat shield, for gasification of biomass with a gasification agent containing free oxygen at 1200-1600[deg] C and 6 MPa or more to obtain gasification gas.
