<p>Coupling connecting both ends of a toothed belt to an endless self-contained belt presenting a single-pieced coupling element (1) for convenience as well as secure and repeatedly detachable accommodation of ends of toothed belt section. Said coupling element (1) comprises recesses (11) adjusted to the sequence of teeth in toothed belt (3) and designed to accommodate, in positive fit in longitudinal direction of the belt, teeth (31) from both ends of the belt section which are braced on opposite sides in the longitudinal direction of the belt. Said coupling element also comprises a slot (4) extending laterally in longitudinal direction of the belt, through which ends of the belt can be pushed in with narrow sides into accommodation position as the slot (4) expands elastically.</p> |
