A backlight module and a display device including the same are provided. The backlight module (100,200,300) includes a backplate (110,210,310), at least one light source (120,220,320), a light guiding plate (130,230,330) and a heat-conducting support (140,240,340). The light guiding plate (130,230,330) includes a light emitting surface (131) and a bottom surface (132) opposite to the light emitting surface (131). The bottom surface (132) of the light guiding plate (130,230,330) is provided with a concave groove (133) in which the light sources (120,220,320) are provided. The heat-conducting support (140,240,340) is used to support the light guiding plate (130,230,330) and the light sources (120,220,320) and disperse heat from them. The backplate (110,210,310) is mounted with the light guiding plate (130,230,330), the light sources (120,220,320) and the heat-conducting support (140,240,340). The backlight module can improve the heat dispersing effect.
