<p>This power source system determines the optimum maximum input setting for a hydraulic pump during normal work and when the hydraulic pump is continuously operating at high pressure. The power source system is equipped with a controller for controlling horsepower, which determines the flow rate of the hydraulic pump on the basis of a first characteristic and a second characteristic, each of which define the maximum input setting for the hydraulic pump according to the discharge pressure of the hydraulic pump and the flow rate of the hydraulic pump, and on the basis of the discharge pressure detected by a pump pressure sensor. When the discharge pressure is less than a set pressure, and when a state in which the discharge pressure is equal to or above the set pressure does not continue for a set time, the controller determines the flow rate on the basis of the first characteristic, and when the state in which the discharge pressure is equal to or above the set pressure continues for a set time, the controller determines the flow rate on the basis of the second characteristic.</p> |
