<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an opponent vehicle from getting under a vehicle in an offset crash against the opponent vehicle by a simple structure, and to improve shock relaxation performance in the offset crash. <P>SOLUTION: A front underrun protector (FUP) 10 is provided with: a FUP bracket 11 fixed to a chassis frame 2 of the vehicle 1; and a FUP bar 12 joined to the FUP bracket 11 to extend in a vehicle width direction. The FUP bar 12 has: a center 13 extending parallel to the vehicle width direction; and a side 14 formed to continue to both ends of the center 13 in a longitudinal direction and extending to form an angle θ<SB POS="POST">F</SB>in the forward movement direction of the vehicle with respect to the vehicle width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
