<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately determine abnormality/normality of the interior of a dwelling house by a simple device. <P>SOLUTION: The monitoring device calculates a difference curve that represents a change in an electric power attributed to an action of an inhabitant. Then, the monitoring device, based on the difference curve, calculates a probability that a change in power data is assumed to be attributed to an action that the inhabitant 70 operates an electrical apparatus 51 and a probability it is assumed to be attributed to an automatic operation of the electrical apparatus 51, based on a probability outputted from a Bayesian network, with a generated data column defined as an input.
