<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical film which can obtain an optical film having less appearance defects. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical film which includes: a first extrusion step of extruding a melted resin composition with a first extruder 2; a filtration step of making the resin composition extruded by the first extruder 2 pass through a filtration filter device 3 and filtering the passed resin composition; a second extrusion step of extruding the resin composition filtered by the filtration filter device 3 with a second extruder 4 having a vent portion 4a, and film-forming the extruded resin composition into a film shape; and a cooling step of solidifying the resin composition which has been film-formed into the film shape by cooling the film-formed resin composition to obtain an optical film, when the maximum temperature of the resin composition when the resin composition is extruded by the first extruder 2 is set at T1 (°C), and the maximum temperature of the resin composition when the resin composition is extruded by the second extruder 4 having the vent portion 4a is set at T2 (°C), T2 is set to be (T1-50)°C to(T1-5)°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
