摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent blockage of a pipe caused by freeze of refrigerant. <P>SOLUTION: A control device includes: an atmosphere opening valve 12a that controls a pressure in a rankine cycle system 100 which drives an expander 10 with steam generated by application of waste heat from an engine 1 to the refrigerant; and an ECU 30 that determines whether the refrigerant may freeze and, when the refrigerant may freeze, increases the pressure in the rankine cycle system 100 with the atmosphere opening valve 12a. The increase of the pressure in the rankine cycle thereby prevents the refrigerant in the internal combustion engine from boiling, causing a steam flow generating to reduce and an amount of the refrigerant condensing at each part in the rankine cycle system to reduce. As a result, the blockage of the pipe is prevented which is caused by the condensed refrigerant adhering to the each part in the rankine cycle system freezing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
