<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse compressing technology which forms a pulse waveform of a required shape by operating the amplitude and a phase of a pulse by a feedback system. <P>SOLUTION: An optical pulse compressing device 1 comprises: a frequency comb light generating device 11; an optical pulse synthesizer 12; an optical amplifier 13; an optical fiber module 14 composed of a band expanding optical fiber 141 and a dispersion compensating optical fiber 142; an optical pulse waveform measuring device 15 making an optical pulse P from the optical fiber module 14 incident, measuring a waveform of the optical pulse P, and producing actually measured waveform data D<SB POS="POST">wav</SB>; an optical spectrum analyzer 16 for producing actually measured spectrum data D<SB POS="POST">spc</SB>by measuring a spectrum of the optical pulse P; and an optical pulse synthesizer control unit for sending an amplitude feedback control signal S<SB POS="POST">A</SB>and a phase feedback control signal S<SB POS="POST">P</SB>to the optical pulse synthesizer 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
