<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means of manufacturing, with high productivity and high yield, a honeycomb filter having high quality by forming a collection layer with a uniform thickness and no leakage on a surface of a base material composed of a porous object. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is an apparatus 1 used to manufacture a honeycomb filter and includes: a work fixing section 10 for fixing a base material (work 11) of a honeycomb filter; a powder conveyance section 20 that is disposed on one side of the work fixing section 10 and conveys powder on flow current using pressurized gas; an introduction section 40 that is installed between the powder conveyance section 20 and the work fixing section 10, further mixes the powder conveyed on the flow current from the powder conveyance section 20 with another gas and that introduces into a base material (work 11) fixed on the work fixing section 10 in using the apparatus; and a suction section 30 that is disposed on the other side of the work fixing section 10, decompresses the other side of the work fixing section 10 against one side of the work fixing section 10 using suction means, and that sucks the gas which has passed through the base material (work 11) fixed on the work fixing section 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
