PURPOSE: A method for producing bio-oil using Rhodobacter sp. is provided to produce bio-oil of high quality. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing bio-oil using Rhodobacter sphaeroides comprises: a step of inoculating Rhodobacter sphaeroides to a medium containing ammonium sulfate as a nitrogen source and one or more among acetic acid, butyric acid, lactic acid, maleic acid, and succinic acid as a carbon source; a step of culturing the strain under the presence of light and in a semi-aerobic or anaerobic state. The bio-oil includes vaccinic acid, stearic acid, and palmitic acid as a main fatty acid. |
