PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image display device and an operation method thereof are provided to track a location of a user by using a tracking technique and to generate an element image in a tracking location. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional image display device extracts a location of an initial user(S110). An image processing unit converts a pickup image into an element image form according to location information of the user(S130). The three-dimensional image display device outputs the converted element image through a display panel(S140,S150). The three-dimensional image display device corrects the outputted image in a three-dimensional image if the outputted element image passes through a display lens array(S160).
