PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge having no possibility of clogging an ink flow path with bubbles and an enhanced ink consumption efficiency. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 10 is equipped with a main body 100 constituted of a frame part 110. In the frame part 110, a valve storing room 120 for storing an ink feeding valve 200 and an ink feeding room 175 adjoining its back side are formed. The valve storing room 120 is separated from an ink room 170 of the main body 100 by the ink feeding room 175. A communicating hole 181 is formed in a partitioning wall 179 between the ink feeding room 175 and the valve storing room 120, and a communicating hole 182 is formed in a bulkhead 177 between the ink feeding room 175 and the ink room 170. The communicating hole 182 is arranged in a recessed dent part 117 formed on the bottom face 171 of the ink room 170.
