PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device of a transparent body, capable of optically well inspecting the inside or surface of the transparent body, without having to use a liquid that has toxicity, or while reducing the use amount of a substance having toxicity, even when the transparent body, comprising a material having a high refractive index, is inspected. SOLUTION: This inspection device of the transparent body includes at least one light guide member 1, which is arranged so that its facing surface 1a is made to approach the surface 101a including the curved surface of the transparent body 101 or brought into contact therewith. Inspection light is guided into the transparent body 101 via the light guide member 1, the opposed surface 1a of the light guide member 1, and the surface 101a of the transparent body 101 and/or the inspection light transmitted through the transparent body 101 is guided into the light guide member 1 via the surface 101a of the transparent body 101 and the facing surface 1a of the light guide member 1, to the inside of the body 101.
