Information transfer in a wireless communication system based on an internet protocol

The method involves giving channel specific information to a hierarchically higher Internet protocol (IP)based channel for the connection between two communicating devices, where another channel is provided for radio communication between one communicating device and a base station. The IP based channel is used according to a Stream control transmission protocol, which enables to hold multiple IP-address-pairs additional to an active pair of IP-addresses in a physical connection. An independent claim is also included for a communication system with an initiation unit.
