Laser scanner and laser scanning method

The scanner (1) has a transceiver (4) for receiving laser pulses and for digitalizing a received signal to a sequence of scanning values. A measuring device (7) outputs measuring running time from an interface (2) of the scanner. The measuring device produces an error margin of the measurement to the running time. The measuring device outputs a section of the scanning value sequence from the interface when the error margin exceeds a predetermined threshold value, where the section contains the received pulses. The interface is formed as a memory or data carrier or data outlet of the scanner. An independent claim is also included for a laser scanning method.
