UNDERGROUND POWER LINES SEARCH APPARATUS AND METHOD

PURPOSE: An underground line detecting apparatus and method are provided to simply grasp an underground electric power supply system by distinguishing a connecting point between an underground power input terminal and a ground transformer secondary side. CONSTITUTION: An underground line detecting apparatus is comprised of a master unit(100) and a slave unit(200). The master unit comprises a current measuring unit, a master modem, and a master controller. The current measuring unit measures a secondary current at each electrical phase of a ground transformer. The master modem executes data-communications with the slave unit. The master controller detects measurement current change of the current measuring unit in response to a line search signal provided in the slave unit. The slave unit comprises a line search signal generating unit, a slave modem, and a slave controller. The line search signal generating unit creates a unique line search signal. The line search signal executes data-communications with the master unit. The slave controller transmits the unique line search signal to the master unit and determines a distribution system of an underground client from a detection result received from the master unit.
