PURPOSE: A power transfer switch is provided to improve the contact performance of a contact terminal to a commercial power source or emergency power source by giving the contact terminal elasticity. CONSTITUTION: An actuating coil moves a moving plunger with a magnetic force. An operating lever(115) rotates according to the rotation of a main shaft(114). A contact terminal(123) contacts a commercial power source terminal(121) or an emergency power source terminal(122) and allows for the flow of electric current. A load terminal contacts the commercial power source terminal or the emergency power source terminal to apply power. A wire spring(125) provides the contact terminal with an elastic restoring force.
