CEMENT COMPOSITION FOR SURFACE TREATMENT OF CONCRETE

PURPOSE: A cement composite for surface treatment is provided to enhance workability by preventing generation of lump and reduce efflorescence. CONSTITUTION: A cement composite for surface treatment comprises 50-95 parts by weight of cement, 0-10 parts by weight of calcium hydroxide having a particle size of 100 micro meters or less, and 0-40 parts by weight of fine powder filler having the particle size of 100 micro meters or less. The cement composite for surface treatment additionally includes 0-2 parts by weight of water proofing agent and 0.1-2 parts by weight of cellulose ether based on 100 parts by weight of the fine powder calcium hydroxide and filler. The cellulose ether is cross-linked with the aldehyde compound. The cellulose ether has a melting delay time at pH 7 is 1-200 minutes. The cellulose ether has a viscosity of 2 weight% aqueous solution of 1,000-200,000cps at 20 deg. Celsius and 20 rpm when the viscosity is measured by the Brookfield viscometer.
