TRANSGENIC MOUSE OVEREXPRESSING MICRORNA-24 AS A MODEL OF MITOCHONDRIAL DYSFUNCTION-ASSOCIATED DISEASES

PURPOSE: Transgenic mouse overexpressing microrna-24 as a model of mitochondrial dysfunction-associated diseases is provided to suppress the function of mitochondria and the expression of Tfam which is a major regulatory factor. CONSTITUTION: A gene constructor is prepared. Oligonucleotide, which includes a promoter and a base sequence disclosed by a sequence number 1, is operably connected with the gene constructor. The gene constructor is injected into the fertilized egg of a mouse in order to prepare the fertilized egg of the mouse deposited with a deposit number, KCTC 11821BP. The fertilized egg of the mouse is implanted at the worm of a surrogate mouse to obtain a transgenic mouse.
