PURPOSE: A device for removing foreign materials from the surface of a roller using a foreign material blocking member is provided to prevent secondary pollution caused by foreign materials piled on or stuck to the upper side of a blade and a blade holder. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing foreign materials from the surface of a roller comprises a blade(10) which contacts the exterior surface of a roller at an angle and removes foreign materials, a blade holder(11) fixing the blade, a blade shaft(20) formed with springs for creating linear pressure between the blade and the roller, a block(60) formed on both sides of the blade shaft, a position control unit formed on one side of the blade shaft to press or separate the blade to or from the roller, and a foreign material blocking member(70) extended from the upper side of the blade to cover the upper side of the blade holder.
