The device has a ring sector including a support part (70) at its downstream end and fixed on a frusto-conical wall (32) and on a block of abradable matter of the ring sector. The part is supported against a fixed element of a turbine for preventing disengagement of an upstream flange (44) of the wall of a locking unit (50). An end play (78) between the support part and the fixed element is lower to a longitudinal axis (80) of a flange support of the wall on the locking unit. An independent claim is also included for a ring sector for a turbine of a turbo machine.
