PURPOSE: A prediction controlled cathodic protection system for reducing an electromagnetic field in a ship is provided to control a current absorbing unit for grounding a propeller shaft to absorb a ground current by predicting an amount of protective currents. CONSTITUTION: An external power type protection control unit(130) controls an amount of protective currents according to a potential of a reference electrode detected by a potential detection unit(131). A propeller shaft potential detection unit(220) detects a propeller shaft potential. A current absorbing unit(230) for grounding a propeller shaft absorbs a shaft current to flow in the ship. A first communication unit transmits the protective current from the potential of the reference electrode. A second communication unit is connected to an active shaft grounding control unit and receives information from the first communication unit. |
