<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact reproducing apparatus having a simple structure with which update of firmware is not necessary or frequency of update decreases depending on a use of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A reproducing apparatus includes: a vibration detection part 104 for outputting vibration detection information associated with vibration of the reproducing apparatus; a determination part 105 for acquiring the vibration detection information and determining, on the basis of the acquired vibration detection information, whether the reproducing apparatus is used for transportation with vibration that is equal to or higher than a certain level or for stationary without vibration that is equal to or higher than the certain level; and a reproduction control part 103 for, when it is determined to be for transportation by the determination part, performing processing for reading content information recorded in a medium in a transportation mode of which function is different from the one of a stationary mode that is suited for reproduction for stationary and reading the content information to perform processing of the read content information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
