Provided is an electric vehicle charge system which is capable of conveniently and correctly providing wireless LAN services in conjunction with operation of a charger. This charger (100) has a charge unit (102) for charging an electric vehicle (600), an IC card reader unit (101) for reading a user ID or a medium ID from an IC card (800), and a communication unit (105) which can communicate with a server (200) and a wireless LAN base station (700). The server (200) has a database (201) in which the user ID or the medium ID and terminal identification information are registered, and an authentication processing unit (202) for performing permission authentication of access of a wireless LAN terminal (300) to a wireless LAN base station (700) on the basis of whether or not terminal identification information matching the user ID or the medium ID which has been read by the IC card reader unit (101) has been registered in the database (201).
