The present invention relates to a mount for a portable communication apparatus, and more particularly, to a mount having an improved structure in which an elastically operating gripper is provided such that portable communication devices (which are largely referred to as portable terminals) of various sizes are compatibly mounted in with the mount firmly attached. For this purpose, the mount for a portable communication apparatus includes: a compressible absorption plate which is made of rubber material and which is easily attached to and detached from a flat surface; a support rack connected to a housing of the absorption plate; and said gripper rotatably coupled to the upper end of the support rack. Here, a pad on which an adhesive solution is applied on both the upper and bottom surfaces thereof and having the same diameter as that of the absorption plate is further disposed on the bottom part of the absorption plate made of a rubber material. The gripper includes a bottom plate and a lower support part so as to seat the portable communication apparatus. Also, elastic constricting parts that may be expanded or retracted by means an external force may be integrally formed on both side surfaces of the gripper, respectively. An end of each of the elastic constricting parts may be bent so as to enable the portable communication apparatus to be smoothly mounted.
