PURPOSE: A portable terminal and an operation controlling method thereof are provided to increase convenience of operation in a portable terminal and to control various operations by using touch input and tapping input. CONSTITUTION: A control unit displays a list view including a list on a display unit(S300). The control unit selects one item of the list according to a touch input through the list view(S302,S304). The control unit performs predetermined operations related to a selected item according to a tapping input(S306,S308). |
