<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure securing reliability of a learning value concerning the step position of a stepping motor which is a reference of speed change ratio control of a toroidal type continuously variable transmission. <P>SOLUTION: A controller determines whether the temperature of lubricant oil in a casing constituting a continuously variable transmission is a temperature (equal to or higher than set lower limit temperature and equal to or higher than a set upper limit temperature) enabling the step position of the stepping motor to be stably learnt. When the temperature of the lubricant oil is lower than the set lower limit temperature or higher than the set upper limit temperature, the controller is inhibited from performing learning control. Thus, an obtained learning value is prevented from being inappropriate for stopping an output shaft, and reliability of a learning value concerning the step position is secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
