<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device in which the number of elastic shafts is reduced, and an inkjet recording apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A second conveying roller pair of the conveyance device includes a second driving roller 55, and a first spur roller 56. A rotary member is arranged ahead of the first spur roller 56. The rotary member 120 includes: a fourth rotary shaft 121; and a first contact part 122 and a second contact part 123 protruded from the peripheral surface of the fourth rotary shaft 121. The first contact part 122 enters a linear part of a first conveyance path by the movement of a tray guide 90, is pushed by an inserted tray 80, and runs on the upper surface of the tray 80. The second contact part 123 deforms an elastic shaft 63 by pushing up a lower holder 110 when the first contact part 122 is pushed by the tray 80, and allows the first spur roller 56 to retreat from the linear part 35.
