An image signal processing device comprises an image acquisition unit (100) for sequentially acquiring a plurality of frames included in respective input images at a corresponding input frame rate, an output frame rate determining unit (200) for determining an output frame rate, a frame synchro unit (300) for sequentially outputting the plurality of frames for respective input images obtained by the image acquisition unit at the output frame rate, and an image outputting unit (500) for sequentially outputting a composite frame obtained by compositing each frame synchronously outputted at the output frame rate from the frame synchro unit (300), wherein the frame synchro unit (300) performs reconciliation processing that eliminates deviation between the input frame rate and the output frame rate, so as not be noticeable to a viewer, with respect to asynchronous images wherein the corresponding input frame rate among the plurality of input images differs from the output frame rate.
