<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end structure of a flexible pipe capable of surely receiving axial force of a reinforcing strip without excessively bending the reinforcing strip of higher strength, without needing to weld the reinforcing strip itself, without using a special reinforcing strip. <P>SOLUTION: In this end structure 20, a protective layer 13 of an end part of the flexible pipe 1 is separated. That is, a shaft reinforcing layer 11 is exposed. The end part vicinity of the protective layer 13 is fixed by a holder 21. In a part of separating the protective layer 13, an internal pressure reinforcing layer 9 is fixed by a fixing member 27. A disk-like fixing plate 37 is arranged between a seal holding member 23a and an end member 29. The fixing plate 37 is fixed to the seal holding member 23a and the end member 29.
