A laser diode drive circuit is provided with: a laser diode (LD) (1); a modulation current differential drive circuit (40); a bias current differential drive circuit (41); a first inductance (2) to be connected between an anode of the LD (1) and a plus power supply (30); a second inductance (3) to be connected between a cathode of the LD (1) and a reverse phase output terminal (24b) of the bias current differential drive circuit (41); a first resistor (4) that has one end thereof connected to the connection point (N1) between the anode of the LD (1) and the first inductance (2), and has the other end thereof connected to a reverse phase output terminal (21b) of the modulation current differential drive circuit (40); and a second resistor (5) that has one end thereof connected to the connection point between the cathode of the LD (1) and the second inductance (3), and has the other end thereof connected to a positive phase output terminal (21a) of the modulation current differential drive circuit (40). A positive phase output terminal (24a) of the bias current differential drive circuit (41) is connected to the connection point (N1), in this laser diode drive circuit.
