<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which does not give an uncomfortable feeling to a driver by preventing rotation of a motor when discharging electric charges stored in a power supply ripple absorbing capacitor through the resistor of a motor winding wire. <P>SOLUTION: A driving control unit 15 gives a command value of a driving current to be flowed in the motor 1 by current value command values Id* and Iq* that are converted in a d-q coordinate system, and sets a current command value Id* in d-axis to a predetermined value and a current command value Iq* in q-axis to zero after a power supply relay 11 changes to a non-conductive state. The driving control unit 15 also fixes a motor rotation angle θ detected from a motor rotation angle sensor 5 to the detected value, and flows electric charges stored in a current ripple absorbing capacitor 12 through a part of the winding wire of the motor 1 by a motor control signal output unit 16 generating a motor control signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
