<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle start state estimation device that can accurately presume the vehicle start state such as slope start etc. though it is a simple and inexpensive composition. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle start state estimation device is a vehicle start state estimation device that presumes the starting state of the vehicle in that a clutch mechanism that can connect and disconnect the engine side and the driving system side is interposed, and presumes the slope starting state of the vehicle based on the amount of the operating condition of the vehicle that includes at least, the vehicle speed, the engine speed, the engine load and the gas pedal treading amount. The condition includes that: the vehicle speed is below a prescribed speed; the treading amount of the gas pedal is more than a prescribed amount; the engine speed is in the predetermined range; the engine load is more than the prescribed amount; and the integral value of the engine load is more than the prescribed amount, and when these are satisfied, it is presumed that the vehicle is in a slope starting state that needs start assistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
