<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a processing performance of shifting a display range of an observation image by shifting a flame on a thumb nail map. <P>SOLUTION: A thumb nail map composition part forms a thumb nail map by spatially compressing an original image by a first compression rate to form a thumb nail image, and composing thereon a flame showing a display range of the original image in an observation image formed by spatially compressing the original image by a second compression rate lower than the first compression rate. An image composition part outputs the composition of the observation image and the thumb nail map to a display device. When a user inputs a shift amount of the flame on the thumb nail map, a display range calculation part acquires a first correction shift amount by calculating an average value of shift amounts input in the last n times including the present time, and shifts the display range of the observation image according to the first correction shift amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
