<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously execute conflicting transactions. <P>SOLUTION: A database server stores committing procedure information for committing each of a plurality of transactions that updates stored data. Also, when receiving a transaction for updating data, the database server executes the transaction to create update data to be committed from the stored data. For committing transactions, the database server determines whether there is a committed transaction having created committed data from the stored data as update source data.
