PURPOSE: A ginseng washing apparatus capable of preventing the damage on the surface of ginseng is provided to cleanly remove soil and remaining foreign materials from the surface of the ginseng without losing roots. CONSTITUTION: A ginseng washing apparatus comprises the following: a transfer unit inducing upper and lower steel mesh conveyors horizontally transferring ginseng; a high pressure injection unit including plural high pressure injection nozzles(230) for spraying washing liquid to the space in between the steel mesh conveyors by moving back and forth; and a housing(100) including storage spaces for storing the high pressure injection unit, the transfer unit, foreign materials, and the washing liquid. The high pressure injection unit includes an up/down movement member.
