The system (20) has a connecting structure (25) provided with a set of deploying and folding units (35, 38) i.e. connecting rods, whose upper ends (36, 39) are pivotably mounted on a rear part of a load supporting plate (24) around upper pivoting axes (R9, R11). The units permit deployment of the system from a folded position at a specific height of a base (21) to a deployed position by moving the support plate relative to the base in translation along an axis perpendicular to a main axis (XX') of advancement of the system.
