SHOCK ABSORBERS OF TRUSS STRUCTURES

PURPOSE: A shock absorbing device for a truss structure is provided to buffer shocks of earthquake by connecting upper and lower chords to an inner corner of a vertical member. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing device(100) for a truss structure comprises upper and lower chords(110,120), a vertical member(130), a pair of shock absorbing members(140,140'), a reinforcing rib(150), and a damper(160). The vertical member is vertically mounted to the upper and lower chords. The pair of shock absorbing members is mounted to the upper and lower chords and an inner corner of the vertical member to be inclined. The pair of shock absorbing members is separated each other at constant intervals to buffer shock and external force. The reinforcing rib comprises an installation groove(151) to insert the pair of shock absorbing members to the inner corner of the vertical member. The damper is mounted to the shock absorbing member facing the damper to absorb the shock.
