PURPOSE: An image processing device and an image processing method are provided to enable an operator to easily find relations between lesions which exist in layers. CONSTITUTION: A layer designating unit(332) designates at least two layers necessary for detecting a lesion corresponding to a predetermined disease. A lesion obtaining unit(333) detects a lesion corresponding to a predetermined disease in each layer. A generation unit generates a combination image by projecting the detected lesion on a predetermined 2D image. A combination display unit(340) displays the combination image. |
