<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: A connector A comprises: a first housing 10; a second housing 30 which can be fitted to the first housing 10; a pair of detection terminals (a tab-shaped terminal 16 and a multifunctional terminal 20) which are provided on the first housing 10, and which are not in contact with each other when the first housing 10 and the second housing 30 are not properly fitted to each other, with at least one of them being elastically bendable; and a lock arm 40 (a short-circuit functional part) which elastically bends the tab-shaped terminal 16 (the detection terminal on the elastically bendable side) so as to bring it into contact with the multifunctional terminal 20 (the detection terminal on the mating side) only when the first housing 10 and the second housing 30 are fitted to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
