The purpose of the present invention is to provide a calculation method for reproducing highly precise solar cell characteristics by using data of the short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, and maximum power operating point of a solar cell in a standard temperature and insolation intensity state. Parameter values which determine standard-state characteristics are calculated using data of the short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, and maximum power operating point of a solar cell in a standard temperature and insolation intensity state. Next, temperature coefficients for the open-circuit voltage and reverse saturation current are calculated using the calculated parameters, and from these the short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, and maximum power operating point at a predetermined temperature are calculated. |
