<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent conductive film using a fibrous conductive material which, even when used as a transparent electrode, etc. for especially an electrostatic capacitance type touch panel, is free of problems arising from anisotropy and can be used in good working condition. <P>SOLUTION: A transparent conductive film has a transparent conductive layer containing a fibrous conductive material on a support film extending in shape of a belt, characterized in that the fibrous conductive material in the transparent conductive layer is oriented at random, and that a value obtained by dividing a luminance LX of light impinged perpendicular to a longer direction of the support film extending in shape of a belt by a luminance LY of light impinged perpendicular to a shorter direction of the support film extending in shape of a belt is 1.3 or less.
