<p>An actuating device comprises a housing 1 for receiving a drive 4, gearing 7 converting the drive movement into a substantially linear movement of an output member 31 and an electronic control unit 34. The housing has a first housing portion 3 containing the gearing 7 and a second housing portion 2 which contains the electronic control unit 34 and is releasably attached to the first. The two housing portions, on being joined together, form an installation space 51 in which the gearing, i.e. self contained, 7 and the electronic unit 34 are received as functionally separate installed devices. <IMAGE></p> |
