<p>PURPOSE:To read bar codes provided in two directions with on sensor, in an airline ticket printing and issuing device, which issues a thrown-in reservation ticket as an airline ticket again. CONSTITUTION:A thrown-in reservation ticket 60 is reversed and carried in the lengthwise direction of a carrying path 28, and bar codes 62 and 62 printed in the lengthwise direction of the reservation ticket 60 are read by a bar code sensor 23a when the ticket passes a direction turning part 25. The direction of carrying of the reservation ticket 60 is switched to the breadthwise direction by the direction turning part 25 to send the ticket to a printing part 24, and a bar code 63 printed in the breadthwise direction of the reservation ticket 60 is read by the bar code sensor 23a.</p> |
