<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively treat kidney fibrosis caused by diabetes. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a composition of probiotics strain GM-263 (ADR-1) on the treatment of kidney fibrosis caused by diabetes, and uses thereof. An effective content of Lactobacillus reuteri GM-263 (ADR-1) (accession number: CCTCC M 209263) is used to prepare the composition for treating kidney fibrosis caused by diabetes. The composition lowers the concentrations of glycosylated hemoglobin and blood sugar, recovers body weight and kidney weight in normal ranges, further specifically inhibits a JAK2/STAT1 signal transmission route, and inhibits the expression of a protein related to kidney fibrosis.
