<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new Nb<SB POS="POST">3</SB>Al multi-core wire cross sectional structure solving a problem on wiredrawing workability due to Ta, the problem being conventionally considered to be a problem in developing an Nb<SB POS="POST">3</SB>Al superconducting wire rod, and capable of suppressing magnetic coupling of filaments induced in an extremely low temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: A new Nb<SB POS="POST">3</SB>Al multi-core wire cross sectional structure having excellent wiredrawing workability and capable of suppressing magnetic coupling of filaments induced in an extremely low temperature environment can be obtained by concentratedly arranging Nb barrier filaments with high ductility in a filament region in the vicinity of a center core and dispersively arranging Ta barrier filaments and Nb barrier filaments serving as a magnetic coupling suppression material at a periphery in the filament region, in an Nb<SB POS="POST">3</SB>Al multi-core superconducting wire rod. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
