<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of transfer failure even when rapid deterioration in toner occurs. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises a density detection part for detecting the density of a developer image transferred to a transfer material by a transfer unit and a correction part for correcting a transfer voltage based on the density detected by the density detection part. The correction part corrects the transfer voltage by a correction value derived based on the ratio between the density of the developer image detected by the density detection part after generating the transfer voltage between an image carrier and the transfer unit to transfer the developer image to the transfer material and the density of the developer image detected by the density detection part after generating the transfer voltage having reverse polarity to the transfer voltage to transfer the developer image to the transfer material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
