<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator in a width-height and length-height coupled mode which can efficiently obtain vibration energy by main vibration of a piezoelectric diaphragm which is down-sized corresponding to high oscillatory frequencies and also comes with a support mechanism which can support the piezoelectric diaphragm stably. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric vibrator 21 comprises a square shaped piezoelectric diaphragm 22 consisting of a pair of main vibration sides 22a, 22b which accompany width-height mode main vibration and a pair of sub-vibration sides which accompany length-height mode sub-vibration; support arms 25, 23 extending outwards from the pair of main vibration sides; and a frame 24 installed on an outer periphery of the piezoelectric diaphragm 22 and having ends of the support arms 25, 23 connected thereto. One support arm 25 has two bent parts 25a, 25b from the main vibration side 22a, while the other support arm 23 has two bent parts 23a, 23b from the main vibration side 22b.
