<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing of a ball joint capable of securing strength against a compressive load applied from the ball stud side, and selectively connectable to the other member different in a kind, while restraining manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: One opening 26 is blocked up by locking a blocking-up part 22 on a body part 21 around the one opening 26 from the other opening 27 side of the body part 21 to the cylindrical body part 21.
